How has the IRS helped you?

I ask this question out of frustration, admittedly. Also, I want you all to put some thought to it for yourselves.

The IRS invests, risks, creates nothing, and is rarely accountable for their operations. Yet every week, they demand from all of us a large share of what we have worked so hard to acheive, even to the point of us losing all that we have gained, in order to pay them what they want.

Yes, I know they collect our money to pay for Police, Fire, Millitary, and roads. That's fine. But do any of us use these services to the degree to which we are taxed for them? (i.e. $8k-$10k per year on average per household)

Unless you are on welfare (living off other people's money), a special interest group, or a member of Congress, how has this organization benefitted you?

    The IRS has helped me:
    1) By taking lots of my hard earned money so I can't invest it
    2) By making sure that my money is stolen and given to those people that don't want to work and stay home to play video games.

    well, let's get rid of this money guzzler and start the fair tax then. So much money would not go to waste on paying these IRS tax accountants, AND all the illegals would be forced to pay, being no longer able to suck on the rest of us like parasites. Also, you'd at least have some control, like buy less or more, thus controling the amount of tax you pay. Read up on it.

    It has kept my finances at below the bare minimum and in so doing I will be kept so far out of the way that the services I am paying for. I may never use. instead they are used to parade themselves around town on my money giving us a big smile. they are happy, of course .
