Show me another »Where to open an online investment account?
I would like to open an investment account and don't know where to begin! I have a 401k I need to roll in and also some other funds to invest. I don't have the time to actively trade stocks, so I'm thinking I would like to put them in a mutual fund? Any suggestions where I should open an account?

- Sharebuilder.com and sogotrade.com have the lowest fees, and can automatically deduct a small amount from your bank account each time you're paid and invest it in stocks you've selected. If you want more advice on how to invest, you might consider Schwab. But I'd just use fool.com for education and one of the two brokers above. We have been very satisfied with the website and would recommend it for you. My IRA is a rollover from corporate and US Federal TSP 401Ks.
