<<<does my layout look good>>>
Yes
<<<like are the colors to gothic, or childish?>>>
No, assuming you mean "too" instead of "to". The black lettering on a dark background does not provide as much contrast as I would like, but I did not have trouble reading it.
-------
The big problems I have are with the content.
-------
Spelling and grammar:
For example, consider the page at
http://www.alpha-investing.com/id21.html
"By now, everyone has heard of the Maydoff scandal, and the detruction it has caused many business owners."
There is no "y" in "Madoff" but there is an "s" in "destruction" the last time I checked. (The sentence also does nothing to tell me what a ponzi scheme is or how to avoid getting involved in one.)
"Senior are the most targeted for investment fraud because they packed full of money when they retire and scam artists see this as the jackpot."
There are probably a couple of words missing. "Senior are" should probably be "Senior citizens are" and "they packed" should probably be "they are packed" "they are believed to be packed" or something similar. (I also doubt the accuracy of that statement. I think older people are targeted more often because a higher percentage of them are addlepated. I think, but am not sure, that most current retirees have a defined benefit pension and have less money than most people still working.)
I also noted on that page that four of the six paragraphs have the first sentence indented, while the other two did not.
-------
Lack of clarity
For example, on the page at
http://www.alpha-investing.com/id1.html
there is a table of ten stocks ranked from 1 to 10. I have no idea what the stocks in that table are supposed to represent, what the rank represents,or what you mean by some of the other headings. If the heading "Conservative" has the common meaning, I think it is incorrect to consider AAPL conservative and SPY not conservative.
On the same page you say "All major domestic stocks are also listed on the American Stock Exchange." which is absolutley incorrect. The "American Stock Exchange" is a specific exchange which lists certain specific stocks, not all major domestic stocks.

Legal
I am not a lawyer, and I do am not certain about this, but I don't think your disclaimer is adequate protection for some of the things you are doing. Charging for investment advice without the appropriate certification is illegal according to other sites I have read. If you have not already had the content cleared by a lawyer I suggest to do so immediately.
